About

Law and AI under one roof.

Cordinel is founded by two people from different worlds. One knows law‑firm reality from three different firms; the other understands AI more deeply than most companies that deploy it. Together we build what Czech law firms need — and what no one delivers as a specialty.

Over the course of my practice to date, I've worked at three law firms — a large international firm, a large Czech firm, and a firm of three lawyers. Each had a different pace, different clients, a different culture. One observation, however, repeated itself across all of them: a substantial portion of the work lawyers perform is routine in nature. Reviewing contracts against checklists, formatting memoranda, searching case law, drafting standard clauses, client correspondence. Work that must be carried out — but that does not have to be carried out by a person billing several thousand crowns per hour.

A second observation: this process can be substantially streamlined without compromise to the protection of client data or to legal privilege. Today's AI can operate within a framework that respects those values — provided it is deployed correctly.

For small and mid‑size firms the impact is even more pronounced. Where today a lawyer or associate spends a day on routine work, a substantial portion of those processes can be fully replaced by AI. Not tomorrow, not in theory — today, with tools that already exist and that we are able to deploy the right way. That is the reason Cordinel was founded.

Two founders.
Two disciplines.

Law · Finance · Client relationship · Applied AI in practice

I am a graduate of the Faculty of Law, Charles University. I built my experience across three law firms — the international A&O Shearman, a large Czech firm, and a firm of three lawyers. The combination gave me a rare perspective: I know what daily work in each of those environments looks like.

Alongside legal practice I have long been engaged with the financial world — I have worked in financial advisory and currently serve in wealth management at Odyssey44, where I continue to hold this role. The combination of law, finance and long‑term client care forms the natural foundation of how we think about AI implementation at Cordinel.

I work with AI every day. I learned it largely by trial and error, but today I no longer approach legal or financial work other than through the orchestration of AI agents. I combine legal discipline with hands‑on knowledge of what AI can do under real firm conditions — and what it cannot be asked to do.

AI engineering · Technical implementation

I am a graduate of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University. I have worked with artificial intelligence and machine learning since the era when these were domains of research labs. I understand language models, neural networks and the principles modern AI rests on — which gives me context that ordinary AI integrators lack.

I don't approach AI as a black box, but with an understanding of why and how it works. That allows me to design solutions that genuinely make sense in your firm — from straightforward automations to sophisticated workflows wired into your internal systems. Where others see a black box, I see a tool that can be controlled and shaped to the specific needs of legal practice.

We're hiring.

We're looking primarily for junior colleagues who want to work in a fast‑moving environment unconstrained by needless red tape, and who have a genuine interest in AI.

Two profiles in particular: multidisciplinary people with a bridge from law, marketing or finance into AI — and technical specialists who understand AI at a technical level and want to apply it in real projects, not in a lab.

If the intersection of law or finance with modern technology appeals to you, write to tym@cordinel.cz.
